🤦🏼♀️OMG, All That Was Holding Me Back!

I started studying people's patterns several years ago when I began to realize my own. I figured out what had been keeping me stuck and it made me super curious what was causing others to struggle to function, obtain goals, and chase dreams.
For me, things were holding me back that I wasn't aware was even still in there...until I forced myself to be real stinking honest with ME.
I had to ask the questions:
"Why, Camille, are you terrified by the notion of talking to people at networking events?" (That always makes me sniggle - What the heck else are you going to do at a networking event?)
"Why are many of your relationships with people often unhealthy relationships?"
"Why is it, Camille, that you have spent thousands of dollars on personal development courses, seminars and books and you still haven't gotten very far in your quest to FREEDOM?"
I would ask those questions but with more of a 'ol poor me' attitude until one day...
I decided I needed to go digging to find the answers to those questions!
I needed to KNOW WHY! But not only KNOW WHY, but DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Because, here's the deal, it was extremely frustrating...
no, correction...
IT PISSED ME OFF that people around me with less talent, half the brain, and zero compassion for others was doing better than me; accomplishing goals, obtaining financial freedom, and living the life that I WANTED!!
OK! OK! OK! I'm exposed...I'm human! I was bitter and I can totally admit that now!
What I discovered about myself is YESTERDAY...
I mean life age 5
...was causing me to hide in a corner praying no one spoke to me at networking events,
...attracting me to folks that were not good for me,
...and making all the personal development products and services nearly useless to me!
The realization that I had wasted so many years of my life being unhappy, afraid, and condemned was a hard pill to swallow.
But, I did swallow it and learn to let it go.
After finally winning that battle, I dedicated my life to helping others uncover the ugly stuff that is keeping them in the day in, day out, hum drum existence that feels more like 'just get through it' rather than 'LIFE IS AMAZING AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THE DAY HOLDS FOR ME!'
Watching others as they experience their 'ah-ha' moment is a beauty that I can barely describe with words.
Seeing peace pass across the face of another,
watching as a smile, a genuine soul inspired smile, turn the corners of the mouth upward,
knowing that they too are about to experience life in a way they never thought possible...
Well, it moves me tears and the deepest of gratitude!
Because, you see, that is The Real Me.
My destiny has always been to help others realize theirs.
